Inspiration
Modern learning is chaotic. People jump between tutorials, courses, and documentation without a clear path to mastery.
Even with AI tools available today, most systems simply answer questions rather than designing a structured learning journey.
We wanted to build an AI system that acts as a learning architect rather than a chatbot.
This idea led to Planix Nova.
What it does
Planix Nova transforms a simple learning goal into a structured execution system.
Users enter:
• a skill they want to learn
• how many days they have
• how many hours per day they can study
The system generates a personalized learning roadmap consisting of phases and objectives.
Planix Nova then acts as an AI tutor that can:
• explain roadmap phases
• teach concepts step-by-step
• generate structured notes
• analyze uploaded PDFs and images
• answer contextual questions
• track learning progress
The system also supports voice interaction, allowing users to speak directly with the AI assistant.
How we built it
Planix Nova is built with a modern full-stack architecture.

AI Engine: Amazon Nova via AWS Bedrock
Database: Prisma ORM
The Nova model powers the reasoning system responsible for roadmap generation, tutoring, multimodal understanding, and conversational guidance.
Challenges we ran into
One major challenge was turning the AI from a simple text generator into a structured learning agent.
The system had to generate structured roadmaps while also maintaining conversational tutoring and document understanding.
Another challenge was integrating multimodal capabilities so uploaded PDFs and images could be analyzed and incorporated into responses.

Our long-term vision is to evolve Planix Nova into a complete AI learning operating system for mastering any skill.
