For seamless payments and elimination of fraud in online transaction
What it does
It validates and authenticates that the authorized owner of the account is actually the person making payments and carrying out transactions with the account.
How we built it'
We developed an android app using technologies like Java, XML, Retrofit,Google Firebase.
Challenges we ran into
The major challenge we had was using the NIBBS sandbox api.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to carry out user authentication and verification using the data provided by the user, and the data provided by the NIBBS.
What we learned
We learnt how to manipulate data provided by the api to provide seamless payments for everyone.
What's next for PlanetPay
We intend on improving our product in such a way that it can be adopted to actually solve the issue of fraud in the financial sector.
