Planetopia Ecosystem/NFT Marketplace

Inspiration

As with all Planetopia projects, we built it with the community in mind, so before deciding what aspect of Defi to explore, we took the time to make some findings, ask a few questions (collecting suggestions for both new and experienced Defi users).

What it does

With Planetopia, you get all of the features that define DEFI (Permissionless, Programmable, Transparent, Immutable, Interoperable, Non Custodial, etc.). We have made it easier to learn how DEFI works by adding innovative products like the Marketplace, Bridge, Game, Swap & Metaverse. The Marketplace allows you to create, trade and collect NFT's, the bridge allows you to move tokens across multiple chains, the Game allows you to earn money while having fun, the swap allows users to exchange paired tokens and the Metaverse gives you the feel of Virtual-reality and how it works.

How we built it

A lot of research and surveys went into building Planetopia, as well as a lot of failed tests. Following months of research and consistent effort, we became addicted to making and interacting with unique concepts. With the blockchain as the medium, a passion to serve pushed the project forward irrespective of the fails.

Challenges we ran into

We all know that Rome was not built in a day and many hurdles had to be jumped before success could be achieved. Our biggest challenge outside funding was building the team (since we are just a startup without any incoming funds, it took some time to find people who were vision-driven and less money-driven). At some points, users may get tired of building and restructuring since the early stage requires more time and might produce less income compared to other established projects with fundings.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

One of our major accomplishments is making it to the Web3 infinity Hackertoon. Planetopia started as a dream and now we are able to share it with the world through the Hackerton. We also are proud of our ever willing and dedicated team who put in all their effort to make sure the end users experience DEFI irrespective of their limitations to their knowledge about our products.
