Inspiration
- Our inspiration was the casual awareness most have of Global Warming. ## What it is
- The game is a time trial platformer in which you must race against the creeping menace of global warming. ## How we built it
- We first decided what kind of game we would want to make, and followed up with the idea to match it. What's important was that the experience itself is one that the player can enjoy, and then putting something else inside of the experience. A game built around a pre existing theme is harder to make fun than a fun base with an idea you attach later. # Challenges we ran into -Figuring out the mechanics and physics properties of the engine, and how we could manipulate it to get the gameplay experience we wanted. -Level Changing from top to bottom/left to right -Spontaneous loss of a sprite -Sharing art assets between members ## Accomplishments that we're proud of
- Finishing the Pitch Presentation
- Figuring out how the physics engine worked ## What we learned
- How to allow the physics engine and the backdrop to work together ## What's next for Planetary Oven
- Nothing is planned at the moment other than submission.
