Inspiration
What it does
Planetary is a lightweight social media that allows users to have their own "planet" that they can post to. Other users can view and comment on these planets, but they cannot make posts themselves. Other than personal planets, all users can post on Earth, which will attribute a location to the user posting.
How we built it
We used Go to develop the backend, and React and Node.js for the front end.
Challenges we ran into
None of us had a solid grasp on Go so we had to essentially learn a new language on top of developing the project
