Inspiration

Planeat was inspired by a desire to help the environment even with a task as small as choosing the right recipe.

What it does

With Planeat, you can protect the "planeat" ;) at the click of two button. Our website takes the hassle out of finding a recipe with ingredients that are sourced locally and are in-season.

How we built it

Planeat was built using JS, HTML, CSS, and the Bulma styling library.

What's next for Planeat

The next steps for Planeat are to add a database of larger recipes and expand our scope beyond North America and create a more detailed algorithm for finding recipes that have a better environmental impact.
