Plan Your Degree

Inspiration

• Our inspiration was that we really like the "drag and drop" features on most websites that we use and we felt that it is an easy way to select certificates.
• We tried to minimize the use of popups as popups are frustrating and we used them only where they were needed.
  

What it does

• Our tool will help prospective CCI graduate students see the different combinations of certificates that they can select to form a full master's degree at CCI.

How I built it

• Using Figma Design tool.
• Doing research on making websites accessible.

Challenges I ran into

• Lack of experience using design tools.
• Could not implement the drag and drop feature in Figma design (had to use "clicks" and "smart animation" instead).

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

• Learning how to use Figma Design
• Creating a system that most users liked during the "User Testing" phase.

What I learned

• We learned how to use Figma and how to use design thinking to create an intuitive user interface.

What's next for Plan Your Degree

• We would like to do more research on accessibility and further make the website design more accessible than it currently is.
