Inspiration

It is very difficult for a person to start the livelihood in metropoliton cities. And the biggest problem that arrives is the economic condition i.e. budget. This problem inspired us to build a web application that can easily plan the budget and enhance the economy of people shifting to the new city.

What it does

Plan My Budget is a web application that showcases the net economy and expenditure of 10 metropolition cities of India where the major population of India resides. Moreover, You can also plan and adjust your budget if you are shifting from one city to another city.

How we built it

We built it using the Javascript frontend framework i.e. ReactJS, Material UI and CSS. We also made a static database using the array of object for the economic information of cities.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge was to gather all the economic data of different Indian cities and place it in a particular database and use it in the web application as per the users' requirement.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The accomplishments that we are proud of is that we completed this web application in a very short period of time . We were also successful in passing the series of data from one path to another smoothly using react-router-dom. We also used Material Ui and animation for better user interactive performance.

What we learned

We learnt about the effective usage of static database for the transfer of data from one part to another. Moreover, we also learnt about the different algorithms to adjust the budget as per the users' requirement.

What's next for Plan My Budget

We will try to share it to middle class masses since they have to shift their cities frequently with the hope that this web application succeeds in planning and adjusting their economic budget easily.
