Inspiration

Our inspiration was based off of the movie review site "LetterBoxd", we wanted to that that same social concept and personal experience of leaving reviews and journalism to book worms!

Sure! Here’s a simpler version:

What it does

TSP Library helps users keep track of what they’re reading, write journal entries, and share reviews with other book lovers.

How we built it

We used Flask for the backend, the New York Times API to get book info, and React for the frontend.

Challenges we ran into

We had some trouble connecting to the New York Times API and making sure users could log in safely.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We created a smooth experience for users to search for books and write about their reading.

What we learned

We learned how to work with APIs and how important it is to listen to users when building features.

What's next for TSP Library

We want to add features like personalized book recommendations and a place for users to chat about books.
