  • Auth & User Management: Supabase with Magic Link sign-in to keep onboarding friction-free
  • Referral Tracking: Postgres triggers + Redis stream to log every event with millisecond accuracy
  • Payments: Stripe Connect for secure, global payouts
  • Analytics: Mixpanel + custom event pipeline visualized in Recharts
  • Deployment: Everything containerized with Docker and orchestrated via AWS ECS Fargate—zero-downtime deploys in under five minutes

Challenges We Ran Into

  1. Fraud Prevention: Designing a payout flow that blocks self-referrals and bot traffic without delaying legitimate earnings
  2. Real-Time Scaling: Handling traffic spikes when influencers drop their link to 100 k+ followers
