PIXORVA — AI Employee Marketplace
Inspiration
For startups and small businesses, hiring specialized talent is often the biggest bottleneck. Finding the right developer, architect, or marketer takes time, and full-time salaries aren't always feasible for early-stage ventures. We realized that with the rapid advancement of LLMs, businesses shouldn't just be buying software — they should be "hiring" autonomous AI agents. We wanted to build a platform where finding the perfect AI employee for a specific role is as easy as adding a subscription to your cart.
What it does
PIXORVA is a dedicated AI Employee Marketplace. Instead of generic chatbots, businesses can browse our directory to hire specialized, persona-driven AI agents — like "Devon the React Developer" or "Ruby the Backend Architect." Once a business subscribes to an AI employee (for example, at ₹999/month), that agent becomes a dedicated digital worker capable of executing specialized tasks, writing code, or managing workflows.
How we built it
- Frontend: Powered by Next.js (App Router) for fast rendering and seamless navigation, with a striking Neo-Brutalist design style.
- Backend & Auth: We used Supabase for robust authentication, user management, and database operations.
- Payments: In future we will integrate Razorpay to seamlessly process recurring monthly subscriptions.
Challenges we ran into
Building a smooth, automated subscription flow was a major technical hurdle. Integrating Razorpay for recurring billing required careful handling of webhooks and state synchronization with our Supabase backend. Additionally, tuning the AI personas so they truly felt like specialized workers — rather than generic text generators — took considerable prompt engineering.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- The Neo-Brutalist UI makes the marketplace feel unique and highly engaging.
- Successfully linking Next.js, Supabase, and a fully functional Razorpay recurring payment system.
- Turning the abstract concept of "AI tools" into a tangible marketplace of "AI Employees."
What we learned
We gained deep, practical experience with the Next.js App Router and server-side rendering. We also learned the ins and outs of implementing subscription-based payment gateways via Razorpay, and how to effectively structure databases in Supabase for complex user-to-agent relationships.
What's next for PIXORVA
Our immediate next step is expanding the workforce! We want to introduce more diverse AI agents, including digital marketers, legal assistants, and data analysts. We're also exploring "AI Teams" — where a frontend AI and a backend AI communicate and collaborate on the platform to build full-scale features automatically.
