Pixll Transcribe

Inspiration

I don't really like taking notes during long meetings or classes. Now that we have access to Chrome's local AI, I built Pixll Transcribe to do it for me. Later, if I forget something or need a quick recap, I can just check the summary.

What it does

It transcribes and summarizes any Chrome tab's audio stream in real time.

How I built it

It captures the tab's audio stream (and mic if the user chooses) and uses Chrome's Prompt API for live transcription and then, the Summarizer API condenses everything into key points, all processed locally.

What's next for Pixll Transcribe

Next, I plan to improve the UI/UX and add multilingual features. I'm also considering an optional cloud-sync for transcriptions, making them available via an MCP server. This would allow users to connect their preferred AI client.
