Inspiration
Freelancers and digital agencies struggle with messy communication, manual billing, and fragmented tools. I wanted to solve that with a single platform where clients could subscribe, submit requests, and get updates in one place.
What it does
Pixeltec lets clients purchase a service plan, get access to a personal dashboard, submit tasks, and track deliverables—all within one seamless interface. It streamlines onboarding, billing, and communication for creative service providers.
How we built it
Built with React and Tailwind for the front end, Firebase for authentication, and Stripe for payments. AI helped generate the initial dashboard design, workflows, and even some onboarding copy.
Challenges we ran into
The toughest part was building the dashboard flow—balancing simplicity with function. Stripe integration also required careful testing. But AI helped plan the user flow quickly and clearly.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Pixeltec feels like a real, launch-ready SaaS product. It’s clean, scalable, and solves a real need for freelancers and micro-agencies. I’m proud that it looks polished and functions end-to-end.
What we learned
Building a SaaS with real business logic is very doable—even solo—when you use the right tools and let AI help with design and UX planning.
What's next for Pixeltec
I plan to add team accounts, live chat, analytics dashboards, and a content delivery tracker. Eventually, I'd like to offer this as a white-label platform for other agencies.
