Pixels to Sound Player

What it does

Takes in a png image, gets information about the pixels in the image and algorithmically plays a sound based.

How we built it

Through determination and minor suffering.

Challenges we ran into

Finding libraries that were simple to use for our skill level that also accomplished what we needed. Properly using github to share our work was also a struggle, none of us had much experience before and it seemed like github wasnt cooperating at times.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Actually having something to submit and dealing with the challenges we had.

What we learned

Some basics on how to use GitHub, using other libraries in a program and the complexity(for us) of image files.

What's next for Pixels to Sound Player

It would be nice to display the image and allow the user to upload their own image without needing to modify the code for it to work. Playing a general background sound based on overall factors of the photo with a per pixel iterative sound is also a goal, we were having difficulties with the sound library we used and were looking for a different one so that this could work.
