Inspiration
The inspiration behind this was trying to make learning more effective and accessible for students.
What it does
The PixelBoard allows teachers and students to communicate better through virtual demonstrations such as drawing on the pixel board.
How we built it
We built this project through HTML and javascript.
Challenges we ran into
As a team, we got the Ui of the whiteboard to appear and it looks great, However, we didn't get the actual syncing between two users to work. And that's something we are all disappointed about and wished we could've made it work. This is our first hackathon and we hope our project can make a difference in the future with some tweaks.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that we relearned an entirely new language in the past 12 hours and that we made the UI for the whiteboard look very presentable.
What we learned
We learned about different software /languages such as fire base and node.js which are great for syncing and connecting users, however we didn't get it to work
What's next for PixelBoard
We want the PIxelBoard to be able to sync between two users and update drawings in real time.
