Inspiration

We wanted to create a smart way for learners to track their skill development visually. The goal was to simplify how users plan, organize, and evaluate their learning journeys.

What it does

MapMySkill allows users to add learning resources and track their progress dynamically. It visualizes their growth through tools like mind maps, summaries, and status tables.

How we built it

We used HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the frontend with thoughtful UI/UX design. The platform is modular, enabling quick scaling and easy integration of AI tools.

Challenges we ran into

Making the UI interactive while staying clean was tricky with only frontend tools. Syncing animations, component states, and keeping it responsive took some tweaking.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We crafted a visually appealing portfolio-level project with a unique experience. The intro animation and dynamic resource pages added a wow factor.

What we learned

We deepened our understanding of UI animation, state handling, and user experience. We also learned how to organize frontend code effectively in a real-world scenario.

What's next for MapMySkill

We plan to integrate AI features like personalized learning paths using Gemini API. We also aim to add backend support for user login and data storage.
