Inspiration we wanted to make Ring but using AI ML to be able actually know what types of characters are involved around your home, whether it is a friend, mailman, or someone potentially concerned to your safety
What it does is detect facial images, and vectorize images to be sent to a weaviate database to check if the person exists in the system
How we built it using Python, OpenCV, and Weaviate
Challenges we ran into issues with extensive load on data transfer and manipulation (need more processing power)
Accomplishments that we're proud of being able to vectorize images correctly
What we learned is that there is much to improve in efficiency wise
