Inspiration
We were inspired by retro pixel games but we wanted to add a cute twist.
What it does
--Continuously generating random platforms and collectibles for points --Animations for idle, jump, walk --Up and right arrow keys to move --Background music --Current and high score displayed
How I built it
We built it using Unity for assets, models, sound, animations and C# in visual studio to put everything together.
Challenges I ran into
The animations were difficult to configure and we had a few issues with our version of Unity which forced us to restart the project in a newer update.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Since we're all beginners in Unity, we're proud of making a full game and getting past the errors we got. We're also proud of the custom-made pixel art for the platforms and "Game Over" screen.
What I learned
We learned how to use Unity and Visual Studio to put together assets and make everything work on certain conditions.
