Inspiration

The COVID-19 pandemic has severely impacted the way that companies interact with their customers, attract clients, and find leads. The conference and trade show days are on pause as companies take time away to protect their employees and the health of the public.

As the year has progressed, I have witnessed companies successfully shift to virtual conferences consisting of rich video content. However, I have taken note that sponsoring companies often do not have dedicated, attractive, or interactive spaces where they can advocate for their latest products. More often then not, the virtual "booths" sponsors have access to consist of lonely chat rooms or static web pages. I wanted to help make the experience more dynamic, interactive, and very cool looking.

What it does

This business prototype demonstrates a version of Pixel Booth's product in action. The rotatable 3D booth featured on the landing page is built entirely on Webflow. The booth has links, buttons, and video capabilities that are heavily customizable depending on the client's needs.

How I built it

I created this website entirely on Webflow and brought in some of my own illustrations to help tie the company's brand together.

Challenges I ran into

It took me some time initially to get all of the 3D components to work and align with one another. The booth was the hardest to implement.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

This booth works with Webflow's CMS so it is possible to rapidly create booths for conference clients and their content, so cool!! I also love how all of the colors and illustrations came together to create this fun brand.

What I learned

I learned so much about working with the 3D transforms panel! One of my friends asked if I had used SketchUp to build this! Nope! All Webflow :)

What's next for Pixel Booth

I am hoping to integrate a chat option that can sit beside the 3D model where companies can actively connect with their customers visiting their booths. In addition, I am going to add a video conference room option where people can speak with the booth host during specified hours.
