Inspiration

As a part-time graphic designer, I often helped friends and small businesses create social media posts, flyers, and banners. One day, my close friend urgently asked me to edit a post, but there was a big problem — he only had the final PNG image, no PSD, no original files, nothing.

I struggled to make quick edits without the source files. I realized that many people, especially students and small business owners, face the same issue — they have images but not editable files.

This happened during my college days, when deadlines were tight and most people couldn’t afford professional software or designers. That’s when I had the idea to build something fast, accessible, and easy where anyone could generate, edit, and enhance posts directly from an image.

What it does

Pixelor AI is a one-stop solution to:

Generate social media posts, flyers, thumbnails, brochures, and banners.

Edit existing images without needing PSD or source files.

Enhance image quality and size easily.

Improve and refine text prompts using the Prompt Enhancer.

It’s designed to save time for students, designers, and small businesses by offering an instant, easy-to-use platform.

How we built it

Frontend: bolt.new

Backend: FastAPI for AI image generation and editing.

Auth: Supabase for secure authentication across devices.

AI APIs: Integrated text-to-image and image-to-image generation models.

Challenges we ran into

Making the Image-to-Image API fully functional.

Ensuring perfect mobile responsiveness and image clarity.

Handling image size, pixel validation, and cross-browser compatibility.

Smooth UI animations with a pure black theme and minimal design. and many more that i can not describe in detail

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Successfully built a fully functional, responsive AI platform that allows users to generate, edit, and enhance posts effortlessly — without needing source files like PSDs.

Fixed critical API issues and integrated a smooth image-to-image editing system, something many platforms struggle to perfect.

Designed an intuitive UI/UX with continuous animations, live preview, and seamless download functionality.

Made the platform accessible to everyone, from mobile to desktop, with real-time authentication using Supabase.

Created a system that is not just a project — it's a real, scalable solution ready for public use.

What we learned

Mastered the end-to-end integration of AI APIs for both text-to-image and image-to-image pipelines.

Gained deep experience in responsive web design, Supabase authentication, and cloud API deployment.

Learned to tackle real-world challenges like cross-device compatibility, image quality preservation, and user experience optimization.

Developed a fast, scalable system that balances performance, security, and usability.

Most importantly, we learned how to think like product creators, not just developers.
