Inspiration

We were inspired by the idea that financial needs change throughout life. Whether you're a student, starting a career, or planning for retirement, everyone's financial situation is different. We wanted to create a system that adapts to these changing needs and helps users make better financial decisions.

What it does

Our Financial Analysis System provides customized financial insights and recommendations tailored to users at different life stages. The system allows users to toggle between default financial data and custom inputs, enabling them to simulate and analyze their financial situation based on income, expenses, and savings.

How we built it

We used Next.js a React Framework and tailwind.css for frontend and paired with node.js and python for backend parsing and api calls.

Challenges we ran into

A lot of us were knew to React, but after some guidance from one of our teammates who had experience and some googling online, we were able to overcome these obstacles. Additionally, piecing together complex components that worked cohesively was very frustrating.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we could work together in short allotted time and make something we are happy with.

What we learned

We took a leap to part of programming we weren't previously exposed to, but at the end we learned so much on how much it takes to get a successful web application running.
