Inspiration
We noticed how many entrepreneurs have traveled to silicon valley to share their ideas. Most countries are not English first. We built something to break through the language barrier and be more inclusive.
What it does
This software essentially transforms both an audio recording (voice) and a pitch deck (pdf), by duplicating the text and speech and converting them into a different language. In addition, it introduces an interactive component that enables users to ask inquiries about the deck in English, irrespective of its original language.
How we built it
Our construction tools included Vercel (t3 stack), Langchain, and a variety of APIs such as Whisper, DeepL, Eleven Labs, Resemble AI, and OpenAI.
Challenges we ran into
We faced some hurdles initially as a few APIs we experimented with didn't yield the anticipated results.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We take pride in making me sound like a native French speaker, and maintaining the style of the pitch while modifying the text.
What we learned
We gained knowledge of new APIs, and developed troubleshooting skills for network issues that some of the services we used encountered.
What's next for Pitch the Planet
Add upload functions and expand to more languages.
