Being a final year Chemical Engineering student requires me and my team to design a chemical plant as our capstone project. Designing Pumps and Piping in Excel is the default way we do things. But due to the constant changes of variables and parameters, that approach could be overwhelming at times.
I couldn't help it but to figure out a way to solve this so we could save time and this project can be executed more efficiently. This is where I started this project.
To use this programme is very easy. First and foremost ensure your device have Matlab installed. Then just open this file through Matlab. You are required to choose at the beginning to either design piping or pump. Everything else after is just inserting values relevant to what is needed. Simple right?
