About the project

Inspiration

Pipeline failures at 3am are a universal pain for engineering teams. We wanted to build an agent that acts as a tireless on-call engineer — one that never sleeps and always knows what to do.

What it does

CI First Responder is a GitLab Duo agent that monitors pipeline failures, diagnoses root causes, classifies failure types, and either auto-fixes the issue or escalates with full context to the right person.
