Inspiration

The idea come through a TikTok trend where people were showing what prompt they used to generate a certain image. It was then that I realized I can maybe make an app where people just share prompts and their output and also see other people prompts and be inspired by them. Day by day I kept on thinking of more posibillites, what if people actually take this seriously and PinPrompt becomes the center of attention.AI researchers and AI companies start using PinPrompt to learn more the models they use and how they can improve their output.

After thinking about it for the whole month of June 2025 I started the project on 28th June 2025 and It was a fun project because I was using AI to make the first MVP and I could tell it what I want and what I don't and managed to build the first prototype that works.

What it does

PinPrompt is a modern social platform designed for AI content creators,AI researchers to share, discover, and discuss AI-generated content along with the prompts that created them. Built with Next.js, Supabase, and Tailwind CSS. Share your prompts and their generated output with the world and let them know what you are doing with AI.

How we built it

The first step when I was building PinPrompt was to limit the tech stack I was using because I wanted the first prototype to work then build on it. I settled on Next.js + Typescript and Supabase and deployed it on Netlify.

After building the first working prototype and ensuring workflow was working well from signup to database, I started adding more features (audio,video,forum,message chat support) and redesigning the user interface for better experience.

Deployment was quite easy after reading some tutorials on how to host an app on Netlify.

Challenges we ran into

  1. Deciding on the tech stack to use.
  2. Running into errors that I have never seen and resulting to asking for help from the internet which took a good amount of time.
  3. Resolving build errors that arose when I wanted to deploy.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  1. I am proud that my invention works.
  2. I am happy because this is my first hackathon and me participating brings joy to me. ## What we learned Well I learned how to integrate Supabase with bolt and also deploy bolt apps on Netlify.

What's next for PinPrompt

If PinPrompt wins in any category the goal is to seek funding and great minds from (Bolt) to refine my original idea into something that can scale and become useful to a majority of communities out there who love AI and prompt engineering.

Making PinPrompt to become a center of research when it comes to AI generated content. I am also looking to help creators/users monetize their content.

I definitely think this idea can be perfected if I include more mind into this, PinPrompt can become a multi-million dollar company in a few months or years. Maybe change the name from PinPrompt to something else.
