Inspiration
we wanted to create a smarter way to take notes, especially for educational videos.
How it works
a chrome extension that creates a popup when you open a YouTube video. the popup disappears when you move the mouse off the screen.
Challenges I ran into
learning how to make chrome extensions and understanding javascript asynchrony
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
working together with four other people to make one vision come true. organically improving the project goal from a simple popup, to an entire commenting ecosystem.
What I learned
how to better work together as a team. how to use callback functions to handle javascript asynchrony
What's next for PinPoint
using Firebase to create collaborative commenting: seeing community comments in real-time
