Inspiration

The Pinoy & Thai Asian Cuisine Website was born out of a shared commitment to support local businesses and celebrate the culinary heritage of the Philippines and Thailand using Notion API.

What it does

Our platform offers a diverse array of features designed to connect consumers with authentic dishes. It provides comprehensive menus, complete with dish names, prices, and contact information, enabling users to explore and savor the flavors of these vibrant cuisines.

How we built it

For the frontend of the website, we used JavaScript, CSS, and React library. The integration of the Notion API allowed us to manage the website's database, allowing for the efficient handling of submitted information directly within the Notion ecosystem.

Challenges we ran into

Throughout this project, we encounter various challenges:

• Intergrating APIs and data sources (menu items, prices, quantities)
• Balancing the needs of platform administrators and users to create a cohesive user experience

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud to intergrate APIs into our project and be able to incorporate it with React.

What we learned

We learned how to implement Notion API to store the database into Notion and intergrate with React.

Pinoy & Thai Cuisine website will continue to expand and incorporate more user-friendly features. It would serve the needs of our users and partners better, and as a result, it will increase the growth of the Pinoy & Thai Cusine restaurant.
