About Pinocchio

Pinocchio is a scam detection app that consolidates messages from various messaging platforms and, using a Natural Language Processing AI Model, predicts whether the messages are scams. The app contains features that allow users to easily identify, manage, delete, and report scam messages. This prevents users from being scammed and overall improves the ease and efficiency of dealing with such scam messages.

Inspiration

Our moms have always fallen for scam messages online, leading to a huge loss in assets. In order to help prevent this, we decided to work on an app using Natural Language Processing to help detect these scam messages and warn our moms, as well as your mom, of potential threats that may appear in their messages.
