Hey everyone, I'm Sumit.
I built Pingzo because I kept getting paged at 3am for outages that weren't real, just a flaky network check that failed once and set off an alert. And on the flip side, I had a backup script fail silently for four days before I noticed, because nothing was actually watching it.
So Pingzo retries a failed check before it ever notifies you, which cuts down false alarms a lot. And when something is actually down, it reaches you on WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack, Discord or email, wherever you'll actually see it in time. There's also heartbeat monitoring for cron jobs and background scripts using a small Node.js SDK, and public status pages if you want to share uptime with your own customers.
I'm building this alone, so today is basically just me refreshing this page and answering everything as fast as I can. If you've been burned by a monitoring tool before, false alerts, missed alerts, clunky setup, whatever it was, I'd really like to hear about it. It'll probably shape what I build next.
Thanks for stopping by.
Sumit
