Problem Statement

PingCorp, a leading retailer in the steel industry, offers a wide range of steel products catering to various industrial and construction needs. Despite having a comprehensive catalog and a knowledgeable sales team, the company faces challenges in providing prompt and accurate information to potential customers, especially during peak hours or off-business times. This often results in delayed responses, missed opportunities, and customer dissatisfaction.

To address these challenges, PingCorp aims to improve its customer service experience and streamline the sales process by developing an AI-powered sales agent. The AI agent will assist customers in real-time by providing detailed information about PingCorp's product offerings, including specifications, availability, pricing, and applications. Additionally, the AI agent will facilitate the sales process by handling common inquiries, guiding customers through the product selection process, and connecting them with human sales representatives for more complex queries.

What it does

PingAI agent enhances customer interaction and streamlines sales by providing real-time, accurate responses about product specifications, stock levels, pricing, and applications. Available 24/7, it ensures global customer support. The AI offers personalized product recommendations, helps navigate the product catalog, and handles common inquiries, while seamlessly transferring complex queries to human representatives.

It assists in order processing by guiding customers through the purchasing process and verifying details to reduce errors. Supporting interactions across multiple platforms, the AI maintains continuity for a seamless experience. Additionally, it collects and analyzes customer interaction data for valuable insights and gathers feedback to continually improve customer service.

How we built it

I used Google AI Vertex Builder, with data stored in Google Cloud Storage. Python programming and Google Cloud Functions are utilized to retrieve the class of products that customers seek, streamlining the order processing and verification process.
