Inspiration
Hard to connect with other university students due to a lack of social connectivity within universities.
What it does
Notifies other users of study rooms and subjects where people wish to study together.
How we built it
Flask API, Python for backend, HTML and CSS, and JS for frontend and deployment using Vercel.
Challenges we ran into
Initially, brainstorming the idea and deployment was a large challenge we faced; however, we overcame this by allocating extra time and keeping on track with developmental milestones.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
High potential to turn this into a phone application, and resolve an issue that is prevalent in a lot of students' university experiences.
What we learned
Gained experience in full-stack web development and API usage.
What's next for PING
Eventually, turning this website into a phone application, implementing additional features, such as hotspots, within UNSW, and additional universities.
