Inspiration

Bring Pinche Tulum's independent editorial news and video content to the living room.

What we are building — Fire TV track

A dedicated Fire TV editorial application, with a television-first home screen, latest news, content categories, playable videos, complete readable articles, and directional-pad remote navigation. The app is intended to pull current stories from the existing Pinche Tulum publishing platform rather than presenting a static promotional page.

User experience

Open the app -> browse the latest stories and categories -> select a news item -> read the article or watch its video -> navigate back and continue exploring with the Fire TV remote.

Hackathon-specific work and status

The existing editorial platform and its content predate this hackathon. The TV-native navigation, video player and article screens are planned for the new Fire TV adaptation; their implementation, device/simulator testing, code repository and public English demo video under three minutes still require verification. We do not claim the Fire TV app is complete.

What makes it distinct

This is an editorial media consumption experience, not the Pinche Chess multiplayer game or AgroCeans environmental reporting and wallet platform.
