♟️ Pinche Chess®

Play. Get coached. Get published.

Pinche Chess® is a cross-platform chess, learning, live-streaming, social, and publishing platform built by The AgroStore LLC®.

It connects the complete life of a chess game:

Play → Learn → Stream → Publish → Discover → Play Again

A match does not disappear after checkmate.

Players build a persistent chess identity, develop their Elo rating, preserve their game history, review completed games, interact with other players, stream matches through Pinche Live®, support the community with Stars, and discover published games through Pinche Library.

Completed games can continue through an AI-assisted publishing pipeline as analysis, editorial stories, generated videos, and social content.

🌐 Play Pinche Chess

Web

https://pinchechess.com

Pinche Chess is designed as a multi-platform network:

  • 🍎 iOS / iPadOS
  • 🤖 Android
  • 🌐 Web
  • 📺 Connected-screen / TV experiences — roadmap

Players from supported platforms share the same chess ecosystem rather than living in isolated versions of the game.

♟️ Play Online Chess

Pinche Chess provides real-time multiplayer chess with:

  • Synchronized moves
  • Server-side legal move validation
  • Game clocks
  • Check and checkmate detection
  • Recorded results
  • Persistent player identity
  • Elo ratings
  • Match history
  • Reconnection support

The server remains authoritative over the game state.

Stars, social activity, and purchases never modify chess rules, Elo calculations, legal moves, matchmaking, clocks, or results.

👤 Persistent Chess Identity

Every player develops a persistent profile around their chess activity.

A profile can include:

  • Player identity
  • Elo rating
  • Wins and losses
  • Game history
  • Followers and following
  • Social activity
  • Stars

This creates continuity between individual matches.

The objective is for a player's history to become part of the experience instead of every game existing as an isolated session.

🧠 Play → Learn

Checkmate is not the end of the experience.

Completed games preserve structured chess information such as:

  • Players
  • Moves
  • PGN
  • Result
  • Match history
  • Elo context

Players can revisit their games and review move histories.

This creates the learning layer of Pinche Chess:

Play → Finish → Review → Learn → Play Again

📡 Pinche Live®

Pinche Live adds an optional live layer to chess.

Players can optionally activate their camera and microphone while playing and broadcast their match.

Viewers can:

  • Watch the board
  • Watch the player
  • Follow players
  • Comment
  • React
  • Support players with Stars

Camera and microphone access are optional and are requested only when a player chooses to use Pinche Live.

Community controls include reporting and blocking functionality.

📚 Pinche Library

Finished games can become permanent objects inside Pinche Library.

Users can explore:

  • Published matches
  • PGN move histories
  • Player histories
  • Generated game videos
  • Community games

Instead of:

Game → Checkmate → Disappear

Pinche Chess is designed around:

Game → Checkmate → History → Learning → Content → Discovery

🎬 From Chess Game to Published Content

Pinche Chess connects gameplay with a larger publishing system.

Structured information from completed matches can feed an AI-assisted editorial pipeline.

A game can become:

  1. A permanent match record
  2. PGN history
  3. Post-game analysis
  4. An editorial story
  5. Generated video
  6. Social content
  7. A new discovery point for the players and the game

Editorial and video content can be produced under Alejandro Barakat as part of the Pinche Tulum publishing ecosystem.

The important distinction is that authoritative chess facts remain structured separately from AI-assisted storytelling.

🌎 Publishing Ecosystem

Pinche Chess does not end inside the mobile application.

Games and generated content can participate in the broader Pinche Tulum publishing ecosystem.

Pinche Chess

Pinche Tulum

The publishing and distribution ecosystem includes:

  • Pinche Chess
  • Pinche Library
  • Pinche Live
  • Pinche Tulum website
  • Pinche Tulum app
  • Pinche Tulum content portal
  • Facebook distribution
  • Instagram distribution
  • Mastodon / social publishing

The result is a loop:

⭐ Stars

Stars are optional consumable virtual items used inside the Pinche Chess experience.

Players can purchase Stars through supported native in-app purchase systems.

Current Stars packages include:

  • ⭐ 10 Stars
  • ⭐ 50 Stars
  • ⭐ 100 Stars
  • ⭐ 500 Stars

Stars can be used to support eligible players, profiles, live experiences, and published games.

RevenueCat

RevenueCat powers the Stars purchase layer.

The application retrieves its Stars offering through RevenueCat and uses the native store purchase flow.

Purchase and transaction information is then handled by the Pinche Chess backend before Stars are credited to the player's balance.

This provides a clean separation between:

Store Purchase → RevenueCat → Backend → Stars Balance → In-App Use

♟️ Elo ≠ Stars

Pinche Chess deliberately separates competitive chess from community support.

Elo

Represents chess performance.

It comes from playing chess.

Stars

Represent optional community support and participation inside the Pinche Chess ecosystem.

They do not purchase chess strength.

Therefore:

  • Stars do not buy Elo
  • Stars do not buy victories
  • Stars do not alter legal moves
  • Stars do not change clocks
  • Stars do not influence match results
  • Stars do not provide competitive chess advantages

Elo measures chess performance.
Stars measure community support.

🤖 AI-Assisted Chess Publishing

AI is used around the chess experience rather than as the authority over competitive results.

Pinche Chess can use structured game information to support:

  • Post-game analysis
  • Editorial commentary
  • Game summaries
  • Narratives
  • Generated video
  • Social publishing

AI opponents can also participate as identifiable players where supported.

The larger idea is not simply to make AI play chess.

It is to use AI to help transform chess activity into understandable, reusable, and discoverable content.

🛠️ Technology

Pinche Chess combines several systems into one product.

Core technologies include:

  • Flutter
  • Dart
  • iOS / iPadOS
  • Android
  • Web
  • Node.js
  • WebSocket
  • chess.js
  • RevenueCat
  • Apple In-App Purchases
  • Google Play Billing
  • LiveKit
  • Nginx
  • PM2
  • FFmpeg
  • AI-assisted content generation
  • Kokoro

🔄 Real-Time Game Protocol

The multiplayer architecture uses persistent WebSocket communication.

Core game events include:

  • HELLO
  • JOIN
  • GAME_START
  • MOVE
  • GAME_STATE
  • FINISH
  • ERROR

The backend synchronizes the authoritative state between players.

This allows different clients to participate in the same chess network.

🔐 Privacy & Community Control

Pinche Chess is designed so live-media participation remains optional.

Camera and microphone permissions are requested only when the player chooses to activate Pinche Live.

Community functionality includes mechanisms such as:

  • Reporting
  • Blocking
  • Persistent identity
  • Controlled social interaction

Pinche Chess itself remains free to download and play, with optional Stars available through supported in-app purchase systems.

🚀 Built During Shipaton 2026

Pinche Chess was developed and expanded during RevenueCat Shipaton 2026.

The project combined systems that are often separate:

Chess + Identity + Elo + Live Streaming + Social Interaction + RevenueCat + Stars + AI-assisted Publishing

One of the hardest engineering challenges was not creating the chessboard itself.

It was making all of those systems behave like one continuous product.

Real-device testing was essential for debugging:

  • Multiplayer state
  • Persistent identity
  • Reconnection
  • Live broadcasting
  • Purchase attribution
  • Stars balances
  • Social interactions
  • Store-review accessibility

🍎 App Store

Pinche Chess 1.0.6 completed Apple App Review together with its four Stars consumable in-app purchases.

Public App Store page:

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/pinche-chess/id6812909878

The approved product positioning is simple:

Play live chess.
Build your Elo profile.
Stream matches with Pinche Live.
Revisit published games.
Support players with Stars.

And the product philosophy can be summarized in three lines:

Play.

Get coached.

Get published.

🔭 What's Next

The existing competitive game remains separate from future social and cosmetic expansion.

Potential future work includes:

  • TV and connected-screen experiences
  • More game discovery
  • Stars-based community rankings
  • Profile customization
  • Cosmetic profile items
  • Badges
  • Visual effects
  • Board and piece customization
  • Enhanced published-game presentation
  • PGN import workflows
  • Additional social distribution
  • More learning and analysis tools

These features are roadmap items and are not required to play competitive chess.

The guiding principle remains:

No pay-to-win.

🎯 Vision

Pinche Chess is not designed around the idea that a chess game ends at checkmate.

We want every player to build an identity.

Every match to become part of a history.

Every finished game to become an opportunity to learn.

Every remarkable game to have the possibility of becoming content.

And every piece of content to have the possibility of bringing somebody back to the board.

Play → Learn → Create → Publish → Discover → Play Again.

Pinche Chess®

Play. Get coached. Get published.

Updates

posted an update —

Pinche Chess is now live on iOS, Android and the Web

We shipped it.

Pinche Chess is now publicly available across all three of our primary platforms: iPhone and iPad, Android, and the web.

App Store
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/pinche-chess/id6812909878

Google Play
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theagrostore.chess_mvp

Play on the Web
https://pinchechess.com

This release completes an important milestone for the project: players can now enter the Pinche Chess ecosystem from the device that works best for them.

Pinche Chess brings together:

  • Real-time multiplayer chess
  • Player profiles and Elo progression
  • Game history and personal Library
  • PGN records and post-game analysis
  • Coaching and educational insights
  • Pinche Live match streaming
  • Stars powered by RevenueCat
  • Videos and social stories generated from completed games

Our goal was not to build another isolated chessboard. We wanted each match to become part of a larger player and media experience.

A completed game can remain available in the player’s Library, contribute to their profile, become analysis and educational material, and evolve into video or publishable social content through our autonomous media pipeline.

The web version gives anyone immediate access without an installation, while the native iOS and Android apps provide a dedicated mobile experience.

We also updated PincheTulum.com and PincheChess.com with official links to every version, making the project easy for players, testers and judges to explore.

This was built in public for Shipaton with RevenueCat, and reaching all three platforms represents the transition from hackathon project to a product that people can actually download, open and play.

The launch is complete. Now the next phase begins: players, matches, streams and community.
