Pincer

Inspiration

It was my experience and my friends' experience that whenever we wanted to get traction for any of our projects, we would waste time doing mundane repetitive work of copying and pasting the same post on different platforms and then constantly checking them to see what people think. Hence, the idea came to me, let's have our LLM-powered AI Agent friends take care of all the boring work while we spend our precious time building and tinkering.

What it does

Pincer is an AI agent that understands your project and helps you market it by promoting it on various social platforms and gather insightlful analytics automatically.

How we built it

I planned and iterated the architecture for a while with Claude Code's Plan mode and the occasional Chat GPT window. Once I was sure of what I wanted to build and was convinced I understood it and it seemed reasonable, I built with Claude Code, telling it in natural language what to do and then manually testing if it did that. Due to a short time couldn't do TDD :(

Challenges we ran into

TIME! and some stupid bugs that drove me crazy, making agnets use the browser is very painful

What's next for Pincer

more social platform integration along with autonomous answering of questions to comments the Agent deems simple enought for it to take care of, saving you more time!
