What's next for Pinball Machine
We wanted to trigger nostalgia and remind people of old arcade games. We used wood found in the M5 Woodshop to engineer the body of the machine. We also used wood and rubber bands to create the flaps as well as the launch. For electronics, we experimented with a few ICs and displays, such as the 4511 chip and an i2c 7 segment display, before landing on a spi based display for a score board. We used limit switch sensors and leds as obstacles to collect points. All powered by a pico!
