Inspiration

Commuting is expensive and takes a lot of time. Many people opt-out of using public transportation because they simply do not find it attractive enough. We thought it'd be cool to allow people to earn money by completing simple, branded, gamified micros tasks thus increasing adaption of public transport.

What it does

PIMP My Commute allows you to book your commutes easily, and according to your personal preferences. Additionally, it offers you great coupons for businesses in your commute route that match your interests and preferences, provided you solve a simple brand-related gamified challenge (such a pazel with a funny picture that relates to the sponsoring brand somehow). You dashboard allow you to track emissions saved by using public transport and get cash rewards for accumulated PIMP'd Miles.

How we built it

We have used Javascript, TypeScript, Node, AngularJS, Ionic.
