Inspiration: Melody yet again pulled through with a great idea.
What it does: Reminds patients of when they need to take medication, controls output of that medication, and keeps doctor up to date on patient details.
How I built it: Arduino controlling dispensing of pills with database storing values, GUI on which doctor can view data, and application with which system can interact with patient.
Challenges I ran into: Completing the networking aspects of the project.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of: Completing a proof of concept for the project.
What I learned: Developed a deeper understanding of Andriod Studio and programming an Arduino.
What's next for Pillbert: Incorporating a video messaging system that would allow doctors to communicate directly with patients who are not getting better.
