PillApp

Inspiration

Many elderly have to take a lot of medications at different times, and there is always the possibility that they will forget or need help with the process.

What it does

You sign up to the app, add your medication, and when you are supposed to take each medication assign an emergency contact that gets notified if the user does not verify taking the medication.

How we built it

We built this app using Django REST API framework with React. For the notifications, we used Twilio's SMS services.

Challenges we ran into

We had some struggles with setting up the Twilio app.
