Inspiration
We were inspired by helping caretakers for the increasing elderly population in the United States.
What it does
Our project allows the user to log in the types of drugs they are currently taking so that they are able to keep track of them.
How we built it
We used Firebase for authentication and database management. We used React for managing the pages and the forms.
Challenges we ran into
Log-in page was initially not in React, so we had to convert it which took some time.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We got the database to store user info.
What we learned
We learned how to use Firebase and React together.
What's next for pill-pal
Making the UI more clean and functional for the user and then adding support for doctors to add medicine to their acconut.
