Inspiration

50% of the population does not take medication on time. We decided to create an app that allows users to keep track of their medications and take them on time. This app would also be useful for doctors and pharmacists to know that their patients have taken the pills from the counter and have started using them. I

What it does

When a user holds their phone in front of their prescription bottle, it will showcase more information about the drugs. The user will also get a notification on when they should take it during the day.

How we built it

We built it using Unity, AR, and Zappar,

Challenges we ran into

We ran into the challenge of combining AR with our idea and we ran into the problem of building this really complex app.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we managed to create the first application that allows the user to track their medication and also reorder requests directly from their headset.

What we learned

We learned more about AR in the process of building and creating this project.

What's next for pill-AR

We plan on enabling a chat feature that allows patients, pharmacists, and doctors to communicate and call each other through Twilio.
