Inspiration
Everyday in Linkedin I can see people complaining about use of LLM by employees and risk of data breach. So, I though to use this pretty simple solution to save the issue
What it does
It remove any sensitive data before it is sent to LLM so that data privacy is maintained
How we built it
Used Chrome Dev browsers built in APIs to do these.
Challenges we ran into
Initially it was working only on Gemini. Then I changed the target from html to react and it worked on everything.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
It is so simple and practically zero cost. So anyone can use without the risk of data breach,

What's next for PII Shield - Automatic Privacy Protection for LLMs
It can't read files uploaded, so I will make a chrome web app to solve that.
