Inspiration - "We made this project in order to help the younger generation to save more money, as most of them don't have any knowledge on how to effectively save money."
What it does- "This program shows the user how much they save weekly and yearly, allowing them to keep track of the amount of money spent."
How we built it- "We used the program C++ and made sure to use our own knowledge to create a simple but effective program which can help this generation."
Challenges we ran into - "Some of the biggest challenges we ran into were coding how to add all the values together and how to show the total weekly savings."
Accomplishments that we're proud of - "One useful element that we added to the project was the use of and which creates a new pages every time you input the amount you saved as it looks more neater and professional. Another example would be the "setprecision" statement as it helps format floating point values."
What we learned - "We learned how to create a simple but effective code that will help students learn better on how to save, and also learnt a lot about saving money."
What's next for Piggy Bank Program - "We want to learn on how to create a website and an app about this so it can be accessed anywhere in the world which can help this generation learn more about saving."
