Piece of Mind

Inspiration

Our team wanted to make an app that would help people who struggle with studying and being productive. It is very easy to procrastinate and not think about what the long-term consequences are. So we aimed to fix that.

What it does

Our app is a task manager that promotes being productive by showing the consequences of what you could have done in the time you didn't work.

How we built it

We used Java and JavaFX for the main product. And we have integrated Google's Gemini AI for statistical analysis of consequences.

Challenges we ran into

Setting up the UI for our application and the API key.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Making a project that looks like it has progress.

What we learned

That it's not about the finished project, but about the friends we made along the way!

What's next for Piece of Mind

We aim to fully flesh out our UI and Gemini AI application to allow users to customize the consequences topics.
