Inspiration

We just miss the movies and theaters and all the exciting things about SDCC 2020 during this special time. For more fun in quarantine time, we want to make a fun fan page for marvel characters.

What it does

It lists the main characters in marvel in the front page. Users can click into the detail page and see some descriptions for the characters. It also has the function of "pick your boyfriend/girlfriend". Users can answer a series of questions and find out what his/her ideal marvel characters are!

How we built it

We decide on the React framework and Node.js. Then we split our work into the main page and the quiz page. Haoxue first works on the quiz page and connect it with the database. Yasi works on the main page and add some detail pages.

Challenges we ran into

Run short of time: two people need to take a large amount of time to work on the project. Without enough team member, we have to work hard and try our best to get the result project.
React styling problem: react bootstrap not working and it turns out it is the problem of the conflicts between style.js and boostrap.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This project is what we're proud of! With only two members and two days, we can accomplish this and that is amazing! As two students who first participate hackathon, we are satisfied with what we have.
