Inspiration

This true inspiration behind this project is a list of youtube videos I came across of people using Siri and other AI personal assistance to ask a girl next to them on a date. The result was hilarious and it actually worked! I thought why not bring that to Alexa

What it does

This skill brings hilarious responses to asking a girl out, you ask Alexa to ask a girl out and it does exactly that!

How I built it

This was built using the very simple fact example provided by Amazon

Challenges I ran into

The challenges were mostly with content

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I'm proud to having able to ship this product with very little time on my hand

What I learned

I learned basically navigating the development environment for Alexa

What's next for Pick up Lines

Next step is to integrate it with a maps api and have the response based on location. If you are at the beach and have your tap with you then you ll get different responses if you have Alexa at work.
