Pi-Notes

The Problem •With many schools and universities turning to self-study or guided online learning due to the COVID pandemic •leading to unscheduled work style •Loss of stability, routine and consistency

Our Solution •Uses proven study techniques: active recall, Pomodorro, revision, pet gamify studying •Increases motivation by gamifying studying •Notes for active recall learning •Colour checked for accessibility •Music and muting for learning

Challenges •Little to no knowledge of html, js or css but now have made a website we are really proud of •Not sure app/website -> but we chose to do a website •Coding difficulties, not sure how to collaborate -> asked for mentor’s help -> found Glitch really useful •Difficulty with links which we worked out after watching tutorials •Timer not working -> overcame difficulties with teamwork •Found out about a lot during workshops which we implemented •Overall learnt a lot!

We learnt about html, js and css and used our inspiration and collaboration to help us along the way.

What's next for Pi-Notes

We would like to share our website for all to use in these difficult times. Studying can be hard without strict schedules, but hopefully Pi-Notes can help make it all a little easier!
