Inspiration
Watching the news and hearing the stories of people whose lives were ruined by felony convictions. Many ex-felons find it difficult to reintegrate with society due to lack of resources/opportunities. A small amount of cash will help them readjust to normal life.
What it does
It uses the power of blockchain technology to set up a charity fund in which ex-felons can withdraw from.
How we built it
We built it using React, Express, PostgreSQL, and Pi Network.
Challenges we ran into
Some challenges that we ran into were installing and implementing Pi Network and displaying the data on the form.

What we learned
We learned about the various languages that we used in order to code this project and gained a deeper understanding of how to build applications.
What's next for Charity Chain
We will expand our reach and influence to help as many disadvantaged ex-felons as possible to create a better world for everyone.
