Inspiration
Inspired by the way IKEA and lego can turn amateurs into proficient builders by breaking down tasks into smaller and simpler quantities, but for hardware!
What it does
Plan & Request: User tells us what to do, and their request gets put into Gemini, which plans the build. Google-genai requests the structured JSON with pydantic, which organizing Gemini's multimodal output (build plans, checks, photos) so the app can render and utilize it reliably. Bench photos are optimized (rotated, shrunk) using the Pillow library before Gemini's multimodal check to save quota.
Modelling: NumPy gets the measurements and works out where everything goes for trimesh (circuit-studio/geometry.py). Trimesh makes and edits the model for the bench, and saves it as a file that the browser can show. three.js renders the interactive 3D model of the bench in the webpage viewer.

Challenges we ran into
Kelly's computer broke (twice) Original site had to be remade by Senna because it was way too "slop"
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Making a seperate app that allows our claudes to huddle
What we learned
still learning...
