Inspiration
inspired from loneliness from my year in quarantine. :(
What it does
Android multiplayer game utilizing AR where one player starts as a phantom who can sabotage the rest of the players’ end goal of finding out who the phantom is. All players will be provided AR tasks to complete with a specified amount of time in order to progress through the game.
How we built it
We create scenes individually and put them together integrating them from virtual reality to augmented reality.
Challenges we ran into
- making a joystick
- moving characters
- connecting to a server
- scripting in c#
- adjusting ar camera
- creating 2d game in 3d space
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- making the character move
- making ghost shape object
- making a shooting game work with ghost
- using models from different apps in unity. (conversion)
What we learned
- how to use unity
- familiarity with C#
- understanding how to debug by looking at console
What's next for phvntom.
- for gameplay-wise, each scene needs to be more well developed.
- for publishing, we're not sure.
