Inspiration

agar.io, slither.io, krunker.io, and miniclip.com defined a generation of in-class entertainment. Now that we are once again faced with the scary thought of attending classes in person everyday, we need to find something suitable for our new demographic; whilst making sure we don't get caught.

Games that use your nose, head, fingers to work, and even your MACBOOK HINGE ANGLE - making sure no one knows you are playing games.

Games that allow you to compete with people from all over the world.

a CUSTOM made NTU/SMU/NUS Monopoly game - including one with All 3 universities, allowing you to play and experience the classics of University life in Singapore.

Whilst also having a feature that records your lecture while you stay focussed on whats important.

What it does

ProHub is a playground of weaponized bad UX, fingerless games, built to entertain university students during the newly mandatory in person Lectures. With over‑engineered “login” flows, motion‑controlled mini‑games, and intentionally cursed interface challenges. From impossible CAPTCHAs to bullet‑hell phone inputs, puzzle buttons, and a custom Singapore‑uni‑themed multiplayer Monopoly, every interaction is designed to be just functional enough to keep you playing and just frustrating enough to ruin your focus. Whilst also having a feature that records your lecture while you stay focussed on whats important.

How we built it

Front-End: React and Next.js because we miscommunicated.

Back-End: Python (FastAPI), Node.js (Express.js)

Database/Auth: Firebase

Models: OpenAI Models (Thank you for the free credits)

Research Papers Implemented: “Multi-Agent Debate (MAD) has emerged as a viable approach for enhancing the reasoning capabilities of LLMs” — Zeng et al., S²-MAD: Breaking the Token Barrier to Enhance Multi-Agent Debate (NAACL 2025)

H Wu et al., Can LLM Agents Really Debate? (2025) shows structured multi-agent debate improves reasoning beyond simple ensembling or majority votes, which motivates this kind of review step.

“Multi-Agent Collaboration Framework for Diverse Thinking Modes (DiMo) … each agent embodies a distinct reasoning paradigm, allowing structured exploration of diverse cognitive approaches.” — He & Feng (2025)

Challenges we ran into

One person used Next.js the rest used React, making all the physics engines, and other animations very hard to refactor and re-render.
